The Lineages of Organizing Listening Program
In order to resist Trump administration policies and oppression, we need nationally-initiated demonstrations, boycotts, and strikes, but these are not enough. We also need every locality to organize at the ground level, creating solidarity among the individuals and organizations that compose the resistance community of that place. One way to do this is by lifting the various Lineages of Organizing found in each local community’s movement for human rights.
If we are to leave our children a democracy and a liveable planet, we must re-learn our forgotten history, bring in, listen to, and rely on the young, and join hands across all sectors of the freedom struggle.
The key is the fight against racism.
The method is one-to-one conversations leading to relationships built on respect and love.
